Introducing Sydney Chiropractor Andrew Richards

I had never seen a chiropractor until my second year of a medical science degree, actually no-one in my family had. My father had ongoing back problems and had done the usual rounds of seeking medical care from doctors, to physiotherapists and specialists with no results. It was then that a friend of my mother's suggest he go and see her chiropractor and that is when things started to change. He came back with interesting stories about the adjustments he was having and how he hadn't felt this good in years. So that was it, I had to see for myself. read more»

“I admit, I was a sceptic,” remembers Carlo Rinaudo. “I came from a family who didn't believe in complimentary medicines, and thought (like most people) that being healthy was simply living without symptoms, and pharmaceutical medicine were the answer to any problem. I was reluctant, but to prove my friend wrong (who was studying Chiropractic), I investigated further and made an appointment to see him.” read more»

"Walking through the halls of my school in Year 8 I suddenly lost all sensation in my feet and fell to the ground. Not long after I got up and strolled to class. An hour later, when the bell rang I straightened up and felt the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my back. Unable to move emergency personnel had to come and pick me up. Hours followed with testing at the hospital where no one was able to diagnose me and tell me what was wrong. Not even the Head Surgeon could tell me with certainty what was going on. Late that night I was sent home with a ‘cocktail’ of pain-killers and advise to stay in bed for the next week. read more»

Introducing Sydney Chiropractor Mike Schlamp

Sydney Chiropractor Mike SchlampComing from Canada, of course I played ice hockey. Playing at a high level our team had our own chiropractor and I had seen him on various occasions for a variety of injuries but there is one time that stands out in my mind. I had gotten body checked into the boards, had the wind knocked out of me and had extreme pain in my neck and upper back. Every time I took a breath there was a sharp stabbing pain in my back. This went on for about a week and I tried a number of things to get rid of this sharp stabbing pain. I went to the doctor and he gave me pain killers but this only provided temporary relief. I tried getting a massage and it provided some relief but the pain still remained. read more»

Andrew Asks some important questions of interest to Sydney residents - Chiropractor Sydney Andrew Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
