Introducing Sydney Chiropractor Carlo Rinaudo

“I admit, I was a sceptic,” remembers Carlo Rinaudo. “I came from a family who didn't believe in complimentary medicines, and thought (like most people) that being healthy was simply living without symptoms, and pharmaceutical medicine were the answer to any problem. I was reluctant, but to prove my friend wrong (who was studying Chiropractic), I investigated further and made an appointment to see him.”

Introducing Sydney Chiropractor Carlo Rinaudo“It was incredible,” continues Carlo. “I’ll never forget that first adjustment. It was as if a huge weight was suddenly lifted from my shoulders, and my brain woke up. After suffering from headaches during my studies for many years, and injuries from sports, they seemed to disappear. That’s when I decided to turn down an offer to study post graduate Medicine, and turn my attention in studying to be a Chiropractor".

Carlo began his pre-chiropractic education at Sydney University where he studied Medical Science, with a special interest in anatomy, physiology and neurology. He continued studying, being offered a scholarship for an Honours degree in Oncology at Westmead Hospital.

After completing his study there, he was accepted at Macquarie University. During the following 3 years at Macquaire, courses included anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the students out-patient clinic. Graduating in 2000 Carlo worked in Scotland in a busy clinic, before returning and establishing himself in Sydney's inner west.

Carlo has recently completed a Masters degree in Neurological science and is a Fellow of both the American and Australian Boards of Chiropractic Neurology. His special interest lie in helping the more challenging complaints people suffer, and offering a natural and effective solution.

“We love sceptics,” smiles Carlo. “I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and help overcome any fears. Patients appreciate that, and also the sincerity and integrity in which we deliver it.”

Carlo is married to Christine, and enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. In fact Christine comes in for her regular fortnightly 'check up' adjustment to keep her spine in working order.

Andrew Asks some important questions of interest to Sydney residents - Chiropractor Sydney Andrew Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
